Client Services Representative

Carly joined the All Creatures Great and Small staff as a Client Services Representative in August 2021. Carly can be found at our front desk checking in patients, assisting clients with medications and supplies, and helping clients understand their at home care instructions for their pets.

Carly loves getting to help all types of animals. She says she loves working at our hospital because every day is different. The staff here is amazing and it is refreshing to work with great care givers.  

In her spare time, Carly likes to hike, travel, spend time with friends, and take care of her cat, Mammas.

Jessica Da Silva joined the staff of All Creatures Great and Small in June 2019. Jessica is excited to be working for the first time in the animal health-related field. Jessica’s bubbly personality is a perfect fit for our front desk. Her primary responsibilities are to greet clients, answer phones, and make appointments.

At home, Jessica lives with Zoey, her Border Collie Mix, and Luna, her Shepard Mix. When she is not at the hospital, she loves hanging out with her friends, camping, hiking, and going to concerts.

Meagan joined the All Creatures Great and Small client services team in September 2021. Meagan is a happy-go-lucky animal lover who is thrilled to be working at All Creatures Great and Small. Meagan is one of the cheery voices you will hear on the other end of the phone when you call our hospital. Meagan can be found at our front desk where she helps clients and patients check in and out of their appointments and makes sure they have all necessary medications or products before leaving.

When not at the hospital, Meagan likes to play video games, go out to eat with her friends, hike with her sister and her dog, Muffin, bake different sweets and study Korean.

Client Service Representative

Tanya joined the staff at All Creatures Great and Small in December 2018. Her primary responsibilities are to greet clients, answer phones, and schedule appointments. Tanya enjoys interacting with clients and making them feel “at home” in our hospital. Her extensive customer service experience and a great love for animals will surely make her a perfect addition to our staff!

Tanya is a Co-Founder of Brick City Rescue, which was established in August 2017. She also volunteers at the Bergen County Animal Shelter, as well as, the Newark Animal Humane Society. She has two dogs of her own, Tatum and Bolo, who are both Pitbulls.

When not working at the hospital, Tanya enjoys hiking, camping, and going to the beach with her husband and 2 sons. She really enjoys outdoor activities where her dogs can be included!

Ja’mya joined the All Creatures Great and Small client services team in February 2022. Ja’mya is one of our warm and welcoming receptionists who helps to check in patients, answer our phones, and make sure clients and patients have a positive experience at our hospital. Ja’mya loves working at all Creatures Great and Small because she gets to encounter so many different dogs, cats, and exotic pets.

During her free time, Ja’mya likes to spend time with her blue nose pitpull, Diesel, while watch Family Feud and re-runs of the movie Twilight. She is also currently going to school to be a phlebotomist and administrative medical assistant.

Hospital Manager

Kristina #1

Kristina

Kristina joined the staff of All Creatures Great and Small in March 2021. She brings over 16 year of experience in client services to her new position as hospital manager. She has extensive knowledge of the veterinary industry and loves to lend a hand whenever her staff needs help.

Kristina will be managing the day-to-day operations at the hospital, working side by side with the doctors on cases and continuing to build a positive environment where all staff members work harmoniously together. “My staff is an amazing team from the front desk to my veterinary technicians to my doctors. Everyone helps each other out and really works well together. I am proud to be the hospital manager” at such a great place.

When not working at the hospital, Kristina loves spending time with her husband, their two young sons and their 4 pets- Mia, a pug mix, Xara, a Rottweiler, and Damian and Kato, both cats. She enjoys cooking, gardening, and taking day trips to surrounding states and towns to check things out. She also loves the beach and enjoys traveling to Florida every year with her extended family.

Lead Technician

Christiana joined the staff of All Creatures Great and Small in June 2017. Christiana is our hospitals lead veterinary technician. Her main responsibilities are to assist doctors in routine procedures, prepare patients for surgeries, monitor anesthetized patients, and oversee post-operative care. Christiana loves working with the staff at All Creatures Great and Small because it makes her feel good knowing that she’s helping the staff deliver the best possible care for its patients.

Christiana holds a BS in criminology from The College of New Jersey. Before working at All Creatures Great and Small, Christiana worked at a doggie daycare center.

During her time off, Christiana enjoys knitting, hiking, and going to the beach. She also loves to spend time with her Pitbull mix, Penny.

Chantell #1

Chantell

Veterinary Technician

Chantell joined the staff of All Creatures Great and Small in June 2017. Chantell ‘s main responsibilities are helping doctors during appointments, running blood work and prepping patients for procedures. Chantell really enjoys assisting doctors during surgery and calming animals down during and after appointments.

Chantell has a Bachelors of Science in Biology from Seton Hall University and is also bilingual in Spanish.  She has been working in the animal care field for 5 years and her previous experience includes working at an animal shelter and making housecalls.  She also has experience with small animal medicine and emergency medicine.

When not working at All Creatures Great and Small, Chantell enjoys working out, playing racquetball, going to Broadway shows, and walking her dog. Chantell lives at home with her 15 year old Dachshund, Buffy, her 3 year old DSH tiger cat, Angel, and her 1 year old tortie DSH cat, Willow.

Amy

Veterinary Technician

Amy Thiessen joined the staff of All Creatures Great and Small in October 2020. She has been working in the animal related field since 2018. She previously worked at a 24-hour emergency clinic as well as volunteered at 11th Hour Rescue.

Amy is a full-time veterinary technician and is responsible for assisting doctors before and during surgeries and dental procedures, running diagnostics, and taking x-rays. Amy is also very involved in the training of new staff members at All Creatures Great and Small. Amy loves to work with “troubled” patients and has a lot of experience with many different small/exotic animals.

Amy likes working at All Creatures Great and Small because of the opportunities it offers and because everyone at the practice treats each other like family. The doctors care for all their patients like they are their own, and they create a very positive environment to work in.

At home, Amy takes care of her dogs, Denver and Finn, tabby cat, Wilson, snakes, bearded dragons, geckos, rats and rabbit. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and their pets, hiking and fishing, and going to reptile expos.

Julian #1

Julian

Veterinary Technician

Julian joined the staff at All Creatures Great and Small in November 2019. His main duties at the hospital are to support the medical team during all types of visits. Julian has a “can-do” attitude and likes working at the hospital because everyone is patient and willing to show and teach him new procedures.

When not working at the hospital, Julian takes care of all his animals- 4 dogs, chickens, snakes, tarantulas, lizards, Guinee pigs, rabbit, tortoise, and fish. He also likes to visit the mall or new exotic pet stores.

Griselly #1

Griselly

Veterinary Technician

Griselly (Gigi) joined the staff of All Creatures Great and Small in December 2019. Gigi is a great team player and is very compassionate. She loves being able to show her patients they are safe in her care by using professional belly rubbing and head scratching techniques. Gigi enjoys working at All Creatures Great and Small because she says it feels like a home, and there is a no fear environment for the animals. Everyone is very willing to teach each other new things.

Gigi has worked in the animal industry for several years. She is CPR certified for animals and has passed several dog behavioral courses. Gigi is currently attending Pen Foster to become a licensed veterinary technician. She has also worked at a doggy daycare, as a dog walker, and behavioral trainer.

When not at the hospital, Gigi loves to tend to her house plants and garden, paint canvases to display in NYC art galleries, and learn new languages. She is currently working on learning her 6th! She also likes to volunteer at her local animal shelter and teach children from different neighborhoods about dog behaviors. She lives with her two dogs, a Red Nose Pitbull and a Blue Nose Pitbull.

Edwin has been a part of the All Creatures Great and Small veterinary technician team since August of 2015. He has spent over 15 years in the animal care field and has previously worked at Madison Animal Hospital and NJ Pets.

Being able to help sick pets get better and giving owners peace of mind is what Edwin enjoys most about his job. As a veterinary technician, Edwin helps with everything from bringing clients and patients to rooms to taking x-ray and running in-house bloodwork.

In Edwin’s spare time he likes to pet sit, snow board, take trips to the beach and spend time with family and friends. Edwin is the owner of a Rottweiler named Cody and a French Bulldog named Drama.

Cierra joined the staff at All Creatures Great and Small in January 2022. She has been working in the animal related field for several years and enjoys being a veterinarian technician. She loves being a part of the All Creatures Great and Small staff because her co-workers value her support, and she can give the animals her full attention when they need care.  

When not working at the hospital, Cierra enjoys going on adventures, traveling, and trying new foods. She also takes care of her pit-lab mix, Zeus, and her domestic short-haired cat, Buddah.

Ana

Veterinary Technician Assistant

Ana Cuentas joined the staff of All Creatures Great and Small in March 2021. Ana is a friendly and compassionate assistant who is a valuable part of the hospital’s support staff.  

When asked why she wanted to work at All Creatures Great and Small Ana said, “I like how everyone here is like a family, it is a very welcoming, friendly environment to work at. I also like how everyone is always willing to teach me and encourage me to try new things.” 

Ana is currently studying at Rutgers University in the School of Environmental and Biological sciences. She enjoys being part of the Seeing Eye Pup Club at school and is also a part of the Student Wildlife Society. When not assisting her colleagues at the hospital, Ana likes to meditate, make pandemic facemasks, and spend time outside. Ann also always loves reading a good book and taking care of her chihuahua named Hazel.
